2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or booking any service with us, you confirm that:

  • You accept responsibility for all bookings made under your name.

4. Bookings and Confirmations

  • All bookings are subject to availability.
  • A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of required deposit or full payment.
  • You will receive a confirmation email or message with details of your service.
  • It is your responsibility to review your booking details and report any errors immediately.

5. Payments

  • Full payment or a required deposit must be made before services are delivered.
  • We reserve the right to adjust prices due to changes in supplier rates, fuel costs, taxes, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, card payment, or other approved methods.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies may vary depending on the service booked (tour, accommodation, transport, etc.).

General guidelines:

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the service date may be eligible for a partial or full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 3–6 days may attract a cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours or no-shows are usually non-refundable.

Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within a reasonable time after confirmation.


7. Changes by the Client

  • Requests to change dates, times, or services must be made in writing.
  • Changes are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.

8. Changes or Cancellations by Travel Time Africa

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, operational issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
  • Substitute accommodation, transport, or activities with alternatives of similar value.
  • Cancel a service if necessary for safety or operational reasons. In such cases, we will offer a suitable alternative or refund where applicable.

9. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal and travel information.
  • Arrive on time for pickups, tours, and activities.
  • Follow local laws, cultural norms, and instructions from guides and staff.
  • Behave respectfully toward staff, partners, and other guests.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or abusive.


10. Child Policy

  • Children under 3 years may travel free (if sharing a seat or accommodation) unless otherwise specified.
  • Children aged 4–10 may receive discounted rates.
  • Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children during activities and transport.

11. Diaspora-Focused Terms

  • We provide services catering to diaspora travelers seeking cultural, historical, and heritage experiences.
  • All cultural experiences are designed to be educational and respectful.
  • Responsibility for proper documentation, entry requirements, and compliance with Ghanaian immigration rules rests with the traveler.
  • We are not responsible for visa denials, missed flights, or travel disruptions caused by third-party authorities.

12. Visa Consultation Protection

  • We provide guidance and consultation for visa applications but do not guarantee approval.
  • Visa decisions are made solely by the relevant embassies or consulates.
  • Fees for visa consultation and assistance are non-refundable once services have commenced.
  • Clients must provide accurate and complete information; we are not responsible for incomplete or false submissions.

13. Luxury Client Clause

  • Luxury bookings (VIP tours, private transfers, rooftop experiences) may require higher deposits and full prepayment.
  • Luxury services are customized; cancellations or changes may incur non-refundable fees.
  • Delays by clients may reduce experience time without refund.
  • Clients are responsible for respecting the property, staff, and other guests during luxury experiences.

14. Health, Safety, and Travel Insurance

  • Clients are responsible for their own health and safety during trips and activities.
  • We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and personal belongings.
  • Travel Time Africa is not liable for illness, injury, loss, or damages arising from activities unless caused by our proven negligence.

15. Liability Disclaimer

While we strive to provide excellent service, Travel Time Africa shall not be liable for:

  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, airline issues, or third parties
  • Loss of personal belongings
  • Accidents or injuries occurring during activities operated by third-party providers
  • Natural disaster, government actions, strikes, or unforeseen events beyond our control

Our role is often that of an organizer or agent for third-party suppliers, and their own terms may apply.


16. Third-Party Suppliers

Some services (hotels, airlines, activity providers, etc.) are provided by third parties. By booking through us, you acknowledge that:

  • These suppliers have their own terms and conditions.
  • We are not responsible for their actions, omissions, or service failures.
